Don’t believe in awards, says Kangana Ranaut

Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut, is following in the footsteps of Aamir Khan - she has said she doesn’t believe in awards and doesn’t attend award functions.

“I don’t go to your award functions and I don’t believe in awards,” said Kangana who walked the ramp for designer Manish Arora at the Blenders Pride fashion show on Saturday night.

Makers of the movie must not be complaining because such a billing of the film as “bold” always fuels massive media hype.

But in the process, everybody always commits the same mistake: Take kissing and on-screen romance as the ultimate proof that a movie is bold and groundbreaking.

I don’t see objectification as a bad word, we all objectify things: Sunny Leone

Bollywood actor Sunny Leone has said everyone objectifies things and added she does not see “objectification” as a bad word.

In an interview with BBC World News, Sunny, who was recently named in the BBC 100 Women list 2016, talked about working in the Indian film industry and more, read a statement.

Does the Indian film industry commodifies or objectifies a woman more than they do men?

“I don’t know. I objectify men all the time. Just kidding! Maybe not so much kidding but I don’t see the word ‘objectification’ as a bad word. We all objectify things and products and people to sell the product we wish to sell. For me sometimes, it is selling brand ‘Sunny Leone’. For a film, it’s selling the name with the film,” said Sunny, who is now celebrating her fifth year anniversary in Bollywood.

Shah Rukh Khan dons three different looks in Raees

Costume designer Sheetal Sharma, who has worked with Shah Rukh Khan for his film Raees has revealed that the superstar will be seen in three different looks in the film.

“The story of the film starts from a normal boy from small town to becoming a big person so you all will see that transformation in his looks. There are three different phases of his life and we had to gradually show the progression so basically he has three different looks in the film,” Sharma said.

Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra’s daughter Adira turned one on December 9. Incidentally, Aditya’s directorial comeback starring Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor, also hit theatres on December 9, Friday. Rani Mukerji has grand plans to mark the double celebration.

Mukerji and her husband have shielded Adira from shutterbugs and the public eye till date but the mom has finally revealed the kid’s picture to the world.

In a heartfelt note shared along with the picture, Rani says she will always encourage her little bundle of joy to follow her heart and be carefree.

‘Actor’ Nawazuddin Siddiqui teams up with his ‘director’ brother

Last year, Nawazuddin Siddiqui produced his younger brother, Shamas Nawab Siddiqui’s debut short film, Miyan Kal Aana. It went on to win multiple international awards, and a special screening of the short film was held at the Cannes Film Festival.

Now, HT has learnt that Nawazuddin has teamed up with Shamas again, but this time, as a director, for a couple of ad films. “The opportunity came when a Delhi-based e-commerce firm signed Nawaz as the brand ambassador and wanted Shamas to direct his brother,” says an insider.
