The Ranveer Singh-Vaani Kapoor starrer is being seen as a fresh take on modern-day romance -- a perception created by a lot of passionate on-screen kissing.

Makers of the movie must not be complaining because such a billing of the film as “bold” always fuels massive media hype.

But in the process, everybody always commits the same mistake: Take kissing and on-screen romance as the ultimate proof that a movie is bold and groundbreaking.

Love him or hate him, actor Ranveer Singh sure knows how to stay in the limelight. Just before the release of his film Befikre, the forever dancing star ensured he was the talk of the town when he appeared on stage with Yoga guru Baba Ramdev for a face-off on flexibility.

1. Deepika and Ranveer were clicked together by the shutterbugs at the Mumbai airport as they left for Dubai to attend Esquire Awards 2016. Both the celebs managed to look super cool in their causal outfits.

2. Shah Rukh Khan was seen outside Salman Khan's apartment in Bandra. SRK dropped in at Salman Khan's residence to spend some gala time with the Khan family. According to reports, King Khan was part of a fun gathering and was at Salman's house till wee hours.

Deepika Padukone decided to skip Shah Rukh Khan's birthday bash in Alibaug for beau Ranveer Singh.

Shah Rukh Khan‘s party in Alibaug has been the talk of the town since days. While his oldest friends like Karan Johar, Sanjay & Mahdeep Kapoor, Chunkey Pandey and Kajal Anand were there, new entrants like Ranbir Kapoor, Imtiaz Ali and Ayan Mukerji also made it to the list But Deepika, who has begun shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati, skipped SRK's birthday bash in order to spend some quality time with beau Ranveer Singh. There have been rumours that their relationship is going through a rough patch. But it seems the lovebirds are doing everything possible to make things work.

According to a report in Stardust, Deepika who had an off from the shooting schedule wanted to spend time with Ranveer and hence decided to skip SRK's bash.

The report further suggests that the two were inseparable. Reportedly, Deepika and Ranveer were spotted at a car showroom near Deepika's house, deciding on which car to buy. Their chemistry was very obvious and they also didn't shy away from indulging in some PDA.

It seems all in well in their paradise, finally.

On the work front, Deepika and Ranveer will yet again be seen in a period drama. Padmavati, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, also stars Shahid Kapoor. The film is set to hit the screens some time next year.

With his infectious energy and fantastic acting skills, the actor has managed to become one of the most sought-after and bankable stars in the industry today. Ranveer will next be seen in a negative role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus, ‘Padmavati’ which went on floors yesterday in Mumbai. In a recent interview to Filmfare, Ranveer spilled the beans about his character Alauddin Khilji and how it is as dark and intense as Heath Ledger’s character Joker from ‘The Dark Knight’. “I'm scared of stepping into that rabbit hole. I fear if I go in, I may not come back. Like Heath Ledger. He didn’t come back. He went so far into the rabbit hole that it took away everything from him. I can say I’m living life on the edge.” The actor even confessed that he is scared about stepping into this uncharted territory. “I am absolutely petrified. It takes a lot out of you. Sometimes you feel empty...Like you have got nothing left. I probably may need some mental therapy. It does affect me to that degree. Hopefully, after ‘Padmavati’, I will do something light to keep a balance. I need time to recover. I am on the threshold of entering completely uncharted territory,” he said.
