Viacom 18, the makers of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next epic drama, 'Padmavati', recently announced the release date of the film as November 17, 2017 and hence, the fans could breathe some sigh of relief. However, if latest reports are to be believed, the film is far from going on floors, courtesy the financial issues that Bhansali has been facing since quite some time. After Eros International backed out from the project, Bhansali did find a strong financial support in Viacom 18, but since the budget of the film is approximately a whopping Rs 190 crore, Bhansali has now approached Siddharth Roy Kapur to come on board and co-produce the film along with Viacom 18 and Bhansali. While Siddharth has already put down papers in Disney, it is yet not clear whether Bhansali wants him or his new production house to come on board to bail him out of the financial issue. It seems Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor might have to wait a little more for the camera to roll for 'Padmavati'. This could prove as a blessing in disguise for the newest father in town, Shahid to spend some more time with his darling daughter Misha, where as Ranveer and Deepika could get some more time to prepare for their respective characters.
